I'm in the military, just relaxing and trying to enjoy life. I've been in Leesville for about 8 months, and it's not too bad. I'm a really laid back guy, I've had my fair share of drama in my life, and Louisiana has been the great escape. I am a recovering college student who is slave to his loans. I currently work as a roleplayer for fort polk. I'm a geek and yes i'm kind of a big "fat" guy. I like playing video games, Camping in my backyard (80 acres), going to conventions /fairs, and taking monthly trips to bookstore's. I love to read and play RPGs. I've have long term relationships, friends with benifits, and long distance relationships. I know I what a steady long term relationship but I also know that that kind of connection doesn't happen overnight. I mainly am here to meet people and get to know them if something happens and a deeper relationship evolves good if not hopefully I make a friend.

If you have any interest in me at all beyond just someone to talk to then there are five criteria that you need to be aware of:
Does Not Smoke (I don't like kissing ashtrays), has to be with in three years of my age, has to know how to be active in a conversation, must not have children (I'm flexible on this but its harder to build a relationship with children in the mix), and Finally you have to be willing to meet me (not right a way but at least after a couple weeks to a month of talking to me if you like me we should meet.)

Well,let's see. I was born and raised in Hawaii.I now live in louisiana and been here almost 3 years.I work on Fort Polk as a Environmental Technician.
I consider myself a nice guy. Very respectful,try not to be rude but some people deserve.I'm also very simple, came from nothing so I appreciate the litlle things.
I drive a beat up Jeep Cherokee, camo paint, I don't really like it but it does get me where I need to go and that's the main thing.
I work 5 days a week, 7:30 t 4:30.I like my job, it pays the bills and I enjoy what I do.

I'm currently out of school right now, working as a cook at Sonic. It sucks balls but I'm poor :( I'm hoping to go to college this upcoming fall.

As far as hobbies go, I play a lot of video games. Yeah, I'm a huge nerd. I collect action figures, I play xbox in my spare time instead of socializing, I obsess over release dates of video games, I have a Boba Fett shirt and wear it in public. I am nerdy as fuck. I also play bass guitar. My best friend and I get together on the weekends and make up songs and record them, we just love playing. Its really fun making up your own music. I don't drink, I don't party. I'm just not into that stuff. I'm very shy and I'm not very good at talking to people when I first meet them.

I don't like whores, I don't like pot heads. Other than that, I am able to get along with a wide variety of people and personalities. I don't judge anyone based on religious or political beliefs.

I'm looking for someone who can be completely honest and loyal. If I am willing to give my trust, I expect the same level of respect. I am not perfect, but I am trying my best to fix myself and become a better person.

I identify myself as a geek. I like computers, math jokes, video games, and Sci-Fi stories. And against the backdrop of small-town Louisiana, I am a geek. But in a gaggle of geeks (or herd of nerds), I fall pretty low on the pecking order. I was recently described as "a typical country boy", which blew my mind, as the typical country boys that I grew up with wanted nothing to do with me.

I rarely fall asleep when I want to. It means I'm not much of a morning person, but I'm sure there are positive benefits too.

I enjoy Winter much more so than Summer. The long, crisp nights are awesome. And I'll embrace anything that staves off the bugs and the sweat. Plus the chance to rake & burn leaves satisfies the little pyromaniac inside.

I watched a lot of Ducktales growing up, and though I didn't realize it at the time, Scrooge McDuck became one of my role models. My friends call me a tightwad, but I prefer the term frugal. I save and pay cash for everything, and I always, no exception, ever, pay less than the full amount owed on my credit cards.

I enjoy country living. I'm not much for hunting and fishing, but I dig a tent and a campfire. I only lived in a city while at college (and it wasn't much of a city). I was abhorred to realized that I could see the golden arches of MacDonalds from the front door of our apartment. Conversely, college was the only time I had access to broadband Internet, and though I've learned how to live without it, I could be tempted back into the city (or at least, ugh, the suburbs) for enough Mb/sec.

I am generally lost at bars & clubs. It's kind of strange that around here the primary places to socialize are churches and night clubs. I'm not much for either, which makes meeting anyone very difficult.

Some hobbies and/or activities that I enjoy:
White water rafting: I've only done this twice, but I am hoooked. I am hell bent on doing so again this Spring.
Board games: Not Monopoly! Not Risk. Not much of anything you can find on a Wal-Mart shelf. Visit www.boardgamegeek.com for examples.
Video Games: Just my luck. I don't play nearly as much as I used to, but now video games are a socially accepted past time.
Racquetball: I'm not great at it, but it is a lot of fun. In tennis, you have to hit the ball *just right* to get it over the net and not go out of bounds. In racquetball, you have a huge wall to aim for, and you don't have to run outside of some fenced area every time a shot goes wild.
Attending Theater: I am not much for musicals, but a well written and decently acted play will satisfy almost any evening.

Speaking of the stage, I prefer that drama stay up there and on the big screen (and out of real life). I hate gossips. I think that if we can't manage to learn from Rodney King and "all just get along", we could at least learn to leave each other the hell alone.

I value independence. Both as a nationwide political issue, and as a personal approach to life. I try to avoid asking for favors, and I attempt (sometimes poorly) to avoid situations where I need someone else to bail me out.

I've saved the worst for last: my hangups.
The most concerning of is my procrastination (aka laziness). I put things off and leave things undone. Its not a raging problem that can get me onto a reality television show, but of the the things I consider character flaws (as opposed to just characteristics), it is the largest that I have.
I used to be terribly shy. I've gotten much better in most areas, and I can carry my half of a conversation once it gets going.
And of a bit more eccentric note, I hate movie previews. I've seen a lot of movies in my life. A LOT. It usually takes 5-10 seconds to get the gist of what a movie is about. The rest of a preview is just a bunch of spoilers that ruin the few surprises the film-makers tried so desperately to create. I have been known to cover my ears and make la-la-la noises when people around me talk about a movie or book that I am interested in.

Hmm...Well I in the Army and to be honest I try to relax as much as I can after work... it is nice to have friends to chill with, i basically work a 8 to 5 job. Well I am an open book... ask any question at all I am not shy to answer...

Im in the Army and i love it. I have been to Iraq three times. On my third tour I was hit by a roadside bomb three months into it. I am a Military Policeman so I dont put up with a lot of bull****. i am kinda a nerd i guess you would call me i play wow yes i said it wow... Don't you judge me! well i guess that's kinda the point of this site regardless. I am a fun outgoing guy i love extreme sports, skateboarding, bmx, surfing, and snowboarding. most of my free time the army allows me to have is spent skateboarding, working on cars i am a huge custom car guy i own my own custom car and audio shop in Tennessee, and playing wow, all due to lack of a girlfriend to occupy my time with. I am in the army stationed here at FT. puke la been here 6 years now , and LOVING IT <----( sarcasm in case you dint not catch that ). Any way i don't know what more to say, if there anything that i think of i will add it and if there is anything you would like to know don't hesitate to ask me.

I am a 23 year old who is recently single. I am in Louisiana for the next 2 years then hopefully Germany or somewhere fun to learn more about the world. i like everything and anything that gets me out of the house on the weekends but during the week i am am more of a homebody....

Me I'm not that complicated. I like to have fun and spend time with my friends and family. I work hard and love to take care of my self and the people close to me. I believe that something worth going for is worth fighting for. I love to play my bass in my down time. And I love to be outside doing any thing. I especially like motocross,to bad I have to borrow friends bikes right now. Music is a big thing in my life, so don't be scared. My family means the world to me but some times they can be a little out there. But thats just a little about me. There is a lot more to me so ask anything I'll give you the brutal truth. clubbing, partying, mudding, riding around, actin a fool

I have a challenging job...a business teacher. My job requires a lot of my time, because I am very often having to learn new skills, software, or hardware for new classes that I would like to offer. My plans for the summer is to self-train myself in digital graphics and animation. I hope to offer that course next school year if I can get the school board to buy the software and get me some books. That's always a problem.

I enjoy traveling, learning new things. I am not too much of a thrill seeker, but I do enjoy things like snow and water skiing, bicycle riding, dirt bike, 4-wheeler and horseback riding, RV'ing, and dancing. Don't like to "ruff it," like camping in a tent in 90+ temperature, though with a few creature comforts it's possible. (:>)

My favorite food is steak and Alaskan king crab legs. My favorite music is pop rock (top 40), the newer country rather than the older, rock-not the real hard rock though, and some classic rock.

I am easy to get along with and typically look for the best in people. I am a mixture today's woman but with values! I am a little on the shy side until I get to know you, then I open up. It doesn't take long then the real me comes out. LOL

umm lets see where to start. im in the army i have been doing it since feb 2006. i love what i do. i am not perfuct. i cant spell but i try damn hard to get it close. im enjoying life as it goes by so slow. i dont really kno how i ended up alone. i kno i had something to do with alot of it and how i am. but im not going to change that its me. im honest i have no reason to lie. im a grown person and it u dont like the truth then you should not ask.
